The Academy of Scientists of Romania, together with the French Institute of Romania and the Agence Universitaire de la Francophonie, in partnership with the “Iuliu Hatieganu” University of Medicine and Pharmacy of Cluj-Napoca, is organizing the third edition of the Symposium on Francophone scientific research in Central and Eastern Europe.
The aim of this multidisciplinary symposium is to develop new scientific synergies in the Central and Eastern European region by promoting a transdisciplinary approach to research topics and addressing societal issues in the francophone area, such as sustainable development, artificial intelligence, security and multilingualism.
Prof.univ.dr.ing. Doina Banciu, President of the AOSR, presented in her opening speech the AOSR projects for young people and the Romania of Knowledge initiative. On behalf of AOSR, Prof. Marius Bojiță, President of the Cluj branch of AOSR, together with other members and representatives from 10 French-speaking countries, also participated in the symposium.
