The National Defence College Foundation – Moldova Branch and Iasi City Hall, in partnership with the Romanian Academy of Scientists, organized the conference dedicated to the Romanian Army Day, with the theme “National security and national defense: values, institutions and policies“, on October 23, 2024, at the Palace of Culture in Iasi, in the Voievozilor Hall.
During the conference, Prof. Ion Solcanu spoke on behalf of the AOSR. Now in its fourth edition, this year’s event brought to the forefront a dialogue between experts and young people from the academic community, with the aim of deepening the concepts of national security and defense, as well as analyzing the role of institutions responsible for protecting these fundamental values or training for a career in the field.
