It is our great pleasure to invite to the 17th Annual Meeting of the Euro-Asian Bridge Society of Cardiovascular & Thoracic Surgeons, to be held for the second time in the beautiful city of Iasi, Romania, on October 17 – 20, 2024.

The Euro-Asian Bridge Society of Cardiovascular & Thoracic Surgeons currently unifies more than 25 countries from the Euro-Asian region and is present in most of the Balkan and Middle East countries through its local representatives. Collaboration, the exchange of experience and knowledge to further advance this specialty are the society’s core values, with members striving to safeguard them through education and specialized training on new techniques and technologies.

The 17th Annual Meeting of the Euro-Asian Bridge Society of Cardiovascular & Thoracic Surgeons has a wide attendance, featuring almost 200 speakers from 37 countries across every continent, including Europe, Asia, the Americas, Australia and Africa. This event serves as an essential platform for professionals to explore emerging trends, share knowledge and foster partnerships. It also provides a remarkable educational opportunity for all participants, facilitating transcontinental dialogue on research, innovation and the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular diseases. Moreover, the specialized medical exhibition accompanying the congress offers participants access to the latest medical equipment and technologies.

The EABM 2024 scientific program includes interactive sessions, complex clinical cases, and presentations on major topics such as congenital heart diseases, valve surgery and advanced minimally invasive and robotic interventions. Academia Oamenilor de Știință din România este continuatorul și unicul legatar al Academiei de Știinte din România (1935 – 1948) și al Asociației Oamenilor de Știință din România înființată prin HCM nr. 1012/30 mai 1956, care în 1996 și-a schimbat titulatura în Academia Oamenilor de Știință din România.
