On June 21, 2024, the 2022 Romanian Academy of Scientists Awards Gala took place, an event dedicated to excellence in scientific research.
The event took place in the AOSR Council Hall and brought together a distinguished audience of members of the academic community, researchers, scientists, scholars, authors and special guests. At the Presidium were: prof. univ. dr. eng. Adrian Badea, honorary president of AOSR, prof. univ. dr. eng. Doina Banciu, President of the AOSR, Prof. Dr. Viorel Jinga, Vice President of the AOSR and Rector of the University of Medicine and Pharmacy “Carol Davila”, Prof. Dr. Eng. Anton Hadăr, vice-president AOSR, and prof. univ. dr. eng. Petru Andea, Scientific Secretary of AOSR.
“I am honored to receive the “Ioan Moraru” Award from the Romanian Academy of Scientists for the volume “Pharmacology for Physicians – Volume I”, published by Editura Medicală in 2022.
The AOSR Awards Gala is a landmark moment for Romanian scientific research, due to the quality and value of the awarded papers. This event is part of a prestigious academic tradition of the AOSR, emphasizing the major role that the Romanian Academy of Scientists attaches to creativity, innovation and originality in the process of scientific research development and knowledge transfer.

The event, which is part of a long academic tradition of the AOSR, expresses, within the programs and projects of the institution, the major role that the Romanian Academy of Scientists attaches to creativity, innovation and originality in the process of scientific research development and knowledge transfer.
The 2024 Awards Gala is part of the “Romania of Knowledge” Program, initiated by the Romanian Academy of Scientists, the University of Medicine and Pharmacy “Carol Davila” and the National University of Science and Technology Politehnica Bucharest, a national Program, which promotes education, science and research as key factors and vectors of Romania’s development through knowledge, a true Country Project.
