On July 5-6 2022, the Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University, Georgian National Academy of Sciences, Academy of Romanian Scientists, The Centre for Religious and Juridical-Canonical Study and Research of the Three Monotheistic Religions of the Ovidius Constanta University and Niko Berdzenishvili Institute will co-organize the international scientific conference “the Black Sea Region at the Crossroads of Civilizations”.
This scientific event is interdisciplinary and those who are interested to participate in it have the opportunity to submit papers from various scientific fields (history, archaeology, ethnology, philology, linguistics, folklore, tourism, ecology, toponymy, religious studies, philosophy, architecture law, political science, etc.), related to the Black Sea countries and the scientific issues connected to these countries.
The main aim of the conference is to present the latest research in various scientific disciplines in the countries of the Black Sea region and share them with the international academic community; besides, bringing together scientists working on similar issues, which will facilitate their cooperation and encourage working on joint projects in the future.
The conference is held in a hybrid format (in-person / online attendance).
